Hi, I’m Gary and my wife Lynsey and I have recently set up Taylor-Duncan Exterior Cleaning Ltd. After a long career as a Police Officer, it was time for me to do something different in life so I thought I would combine my love of power washing with my desire to build a new career for myself.

We arrange the easiest possible way to quote for the work, then email and text it to you. As soon as you accept it, we will schedule the work at a convenient time.

Absolutely. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance (up to £5 million) that covers all aspects of our work. This protects your property and gives you complete peace of mind while we’re on site.
We’re happy to provide proof of our insurance on request – please just ask when you book. Many of our customers appreciate this reassurance, especially for larger projects or work on valuable surfaces.
No, you don’t need to be home—and many of our customers prefer to be at work while we complete the job. As long as we have access to the areas needing treatment and any side gates are unlocked, we can complete the work. Our van is equipped with a 650-litre water tank, allowing us to be fully self-sufficient for power and water. We will always send you before and after photographs once the job is complete so you can see the transformation immediately.
We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience:
Payment is due within 14 days of completion, providing you are completely satisfied with our work. For larger commercial projects, we may discuss different payment terms.
We wear all of the relevant Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
We conduct a full Risk Assessment before, during and after every job we do.
We are transparent regarding the use of any chemicals on your property – before, during and after their use. We don’t use them if they are not necessary, if we can’t do it safely and you do not approve of their use. We also only use the best chemicals on the market.
We realise and accept that we have a duty of care to you, your family, pets, neighbours and the general public and we take great care of everyone’s safety.
We use safety cones, hose covers, no entry tape and warning signs at all times.
We only use the very best equipment on the market, and it is regularly maintained to an extremely high standard.
We have extensive Public Liability Insurance that we can show anyone, at any time.
Yes! We love working with the local community. If you and one or more friends or neighbours book your services at the same time, we offer a 10% discount on the total labour cost for ALL the bookings. It’s a great way to save money while we are already in your street with our equipment.

We take immense pride in our work, and your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with any aspect of our cleaning, please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll return, as soon as possible, to address it at no extra cost.
We like to walk through the completed work with you, if possible, (and always send detailed before and after photos) to ensure you’re delighted with the results before we consider the job done. We don’t want payment until you are completely happy with our work!
Light rain doesn’t stop us – after all, we’re working with water anyway! However, we may need to reschedule in certain conditions:
If we need to reschedule, we’ll contact you as early as possible (usually the evening before) to arrange an alternative date. Your booking always takes priority.

We had Taylor-Duncan out to steam clean the roof of our detached house. I was worried about people walking on the tiles, but Gary used a scaffold tower and never stepped foot on the roof. The results were instant and the house looks brand new. They even cleared the gutters and cleaned the soffits as part of the package. Brilliant value for money.
